Life isn’t always easy. There are times when we are challenged, when we feel like we can’t take much more, or when we have experienced an event, or groups of events that have taken a toll on us. Your challenges are just as important as the next persons, and it is ok to seek help as we know that everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. You might be initially hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you will feel confident that you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a better place and being a better you. Our therapists use a wide variety of different therapeutic approaches to helping you feel like yourself again. We believe that counselling is not a one size fits all. In addition to talk therapy, we offer a highly effective modern trauma informed approach to help you move past your trauma and other mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, abuse, panic attacks, OCD, and so much more. This therapy is called Accelerated Resolution Therapy also known as ART. In addition to ART our counsellors use a variety of other approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Gottman Methods for Couples Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
